Two quick tips: Keyboard Shortcuts and Sharing History

It’s October and in some places in the world, leaves on deciduous trees are starting to change colors in preparation to save energy during the colder months. In the spirit of dropping knowledge, this month we're talking about lesser known Tips and Tricks for getting the most out of ExaVault.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Moving files around in SWFT by dragging and dropping can be a real time saver, but did you know that you can also copy files by dragging and dropping? Simply hold down the Control button on your PC keyboard (Option on Macs) when dragging a file, and you’ll see the label change to “Copy”. Once you drop the file, you’ll have made a copy of the file in a new location!

Sharing History

Sharing is caring, but sometimes you need to know what exactly is happening when sharing. With the Sharing History tab, you can see when you shared the file and even click on the sharing history entry and see exact details: Who you shared it with, if they downloaded the file, resending the invite and the list goes on.

To see your accounts Sharing History, click on the Share tab in the blue navigation bar, then click on History in the left hand navigation section.
