Downloading Files

Downloading a file.

To download a file, just click on the file you wish to download. The file will be saved automatically to the pre-set download location for your web browser. This will usually be the Downloads folder on your computer.

Downloading Folders

To download a folder, select the Download option from the actions drop-down next to any folder. If the contents of the folder are large, you will see a message that the files inside the folder are being compressed. The folder and all of its contents will be downloaded as a zip file to the pre-set download destination folder for your web browser.

Downloading Multiple Items as a Zip File

When you choose multiple items to download at once, they will be downloaded as a zip file:

1. Check the boxes next to the files and/or folders that you want to download.

2. Click the DOWNLOAD SELECTED button.

3. Enter a name for the zip file.

4. Click the OK button to start the download.

The zip file containing your selected items will be saved to the pre-set download destination folder. There is a limit to the size of the files that can be zipped and downloaded through web interface. If you receive an error message while downloading, you'll need to use a standalone FTP program to download your files.

Downloading All Items in a Folder

When you click the Select All checkbox before downloading files, you will be prompted to select between all items in the folder.

1. Check the top checkbox to select all items in the current folder.

2. Click the DOWNLOAD SELECTED button.

3. Enter a name for the zip file.

4. Click the OK button to start the download.

The zip file containing your selected items will be saved to the pre-set download destination folder.

ZIP File Downloading Limits

There is a size limit of 10GB when zipping and downloading files through the web file manager. If your set of files is larger than that, you'll need to either download them one at a time, or use a standalone FTP program to download your files in bulk.
