Uploading Limitations

There are a couple of things to know about using a web browser to upload files:

  • If you need to upload files larger than 4GB, consider using a desktop FTP client. Web browser memory limits can cause very large uploads to fail.
  • You may only upload up to a thousand (1000) files at one time. If you need to upload more than a thousand files, either use a desktop FTP client or upload the files in batches of less than 1000 files.

Filenames

  • While we accept all UTF characters in uploads, filenames must be fewer than 160 characters long, including the extension type characters.
  • Additionally, filenames can not include any forward slashes “/”.
