Custom Branding, Admin Users, and Notifications

It’s been a busy new year so far at ExaVault. We have several shiny new features that we want to tell you about regarding your ExaVault FTP account: custom branding with logos and color themes, administrative users, sharespaces, sent file links… well, I could go on like this forever.

Custom Branding – Your Logo and Company Name

We’re happy to announce that we’ve introduced custom branding for your account! You can now upload a logo and set the company name for your account. Your logo and company name will appear on the main site, as well as any sharespace or file send invitations that you send out.

  1. Login to SWFT as either a master or admin user:
  2. Click on the ‘Settings’ button.
  3. Click on the ‘Rebranding’ tab.

If you don’t have a logo that suits your needs, you can still set the company name. That will remove the ExaVault logo from the SWFT interface and the sharespace / sentlink emails and replace it with your company’s name.

Using SWFT as the Default File Manager for Your Account

While you are on the custom branding page uploading your logo, you might want to set SWFT as the default file manager for your account. This way, when someone enters into their browser, SWFT will swftly appear. Just select ‘SWFT File Manager’ as the default file manager before you click the ‘Save Settings’ button.
SWFT: Now with with that sparkly 'just been brushed' feeling!

Upload and Download Notifications

Have you wanted an email when files are uploaded and downloaded from your account? Well now you can do just that! You can targeteither files or folders for upload and download notifications:

  1. Login to SWFT as either a master or admin user:
  2. Click the ‘Actions’ menu for the folder or file you would like to target.
  3. Select whether you want to be notified of uploads or downloads
  4. Select the users (or everyone) that you want to be notified about.

Within a few minutes of the targeted event happening, you’ll get an email!

Admin Users in SWFT

Have you wanted to allow your co-workers full administrative access in SWFT so that they could setup users, get the activity logs, or setup sharespaces? We’ve added that feature as well!

  1. Login to SWFT as either a master or admin user:
  2. Click on the Users page
  3. New users: Click the ‘Add New User’ button. Existing users: Click the ‘Edit’ button next to their username
  4. Click the ‘Advanced’ link.
  5. Change the role to ‘Admin’
