Reseller FAQ

Can I rebrand your service so clients don't see the ExaVault name?
Yes, as long as you have access to your DNS. You'll want to create a CNAME record that points to your ExaVault backup server. For example, you might point johnsmith.mycompany.com to johnsmith.exavault.com. When your user (John Smith) logs into the service, there will be no mention of ExaVault anywhere.

If you're planning to use our Web FTP Client, you may want to rebrand that as well. Please see the 'Website Integration/Rebranding' instructions on the Web FTP Client for more information.

Do you have special reseller pricing?
At this time, we do not offer an additional reseller discount off of our standard prices. However, for our larger resellers, we do offer large scale storage plans, which have a lower price per GB than even our lowest priced plans. Please contact us for details.

Can you combine multiple accounts onto one bill?
Of course! We can combine all your accounts onto one bill, or we can charge you for each account individually. The choice is yours.

How does support work?
As a reseller, we let you maintain your exclusive relationship with your customer, and provide the 'first line' of support. If your customers have questions that you cannot answer, you are welcome to contact us and we'll reply to you so that you can pass the answer onto your customer.

How do I get started?
Simply signup online for your first plan, and then email us at to let us know you're planning to resell our services. When you signup for your second plan, just mark 'I'm an existing customer' during the signup process.

Can I just refer my customers to you?
If you'd rather not handle billing and customer support yourself, you are certainly welcome to refer your customers directly to us. We don't currently have an affiliate program, but we invite you to contact us at so that we may notify you if we do introduce such a program in the future.
