Every FTP Storage Space account lets you create an unlimited number of sub-accounts. A sub-account is an additional FTP login that you can give to a client, friend or business partner, so they can get to your files.

Since we give you an unlimited number of sub-accounts, you can setup your system however you want... for example, you might give one sub-account to each of your employees and one to each client.

All our accounts include unlimited bandwidth. You may upload and download as many files as you'd like, and you will never incur an extra charge for bandwidth usage!

We let you log in to your FTP site as many times as you need, from as many computers as you want. You can be uploading files in New York while your clients in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo are downloading files... all at the same time!

You can restrict a sub-account so it only has access to certain files and folders on your FTP site. You can see everything (with the master password), but your sub-account only has a limited view.

This feature is frequently used when sharing files with clients. For example, you might want the 'acme-coffee' sub-account to only access the 'ACME Coffee Company Files' folder, while the 'starbucks' account only has access to the 'Starbucks Files' folder.

In some cases, you may want to make some of the files in your FTP space available ONLY for download (so your customers can't change your files). You can set your sub-account to 'read-only' access, which means that only downloads are allowed.

Conversely, if you only want to allow uploads, set your account for 'write-only' access.

Our system uses the proven industry standard FTP protocol. You can access your space with any one of thousands of FTP programs, including SmartFTP, CuteFTP, WS_FTP, FileZilla and the FTP software built into Windows. There is nothing proprietary, so you never have to worry about lock-in.

We also provide rebrandable web-based FTP Software, so you and your clients can access your FTP space via a web browser.

Our FTP service can accept files of any size. If you have a 100GB account, you may upload one 100GB file, two 50GB files, or a hundred 1GB files...your choice.

Additionally, we support 'FTP Resume' on both uploads and downloads. If your Internet connection is interrupted for some reason, FTP Resume lets you pick off uploading or downloading your large files right where you left off. You don't have to start over from the beginning.

We support secure, encrypted connections via both SecureFTP (SFTP) and FTP-SSL. All accounts and sub-accounts can use both SFTP & FTP-SSL in addition to standard FTP, at no additional cost.
