Drop Box User Setup
ExaVault supports 'upload only' users, a.k.a. a 'drop box'. Drop box users are used when you need multiple customers to send files to you using a single login – and you don't want one customer looking at another customer's files.
To setup a drop box user:
- Login to SWFT as the main account User.
- Click the Users button on the toolbar..
- Click the Add New User button.
In the New User window:
- Enter the nickname, username, email and password for the User.
- Click the change location link to change the home directory for the User.
- Change the role drop-down to read “custom”.
- Check only the 'upload' checkbox .
Now you can send the login information for this User to your clients. They'll be able to login and upload files, but not see or download other customer's files.
