Send Files

Send Files

Send files lets you send off messages to others just like email. But /unlike/ email, you don't attach files – you link to them. You can also optionally upload the files in the sent file to your account.

To send a link to a file:

  1. Click 'Send Files' on the main toolbar.
  2. Click Enter the email addresses that you would like to send files to.
  3. Enter a subject and message for your recipients.
  4. Browse and select the files that you want to send.
  5. Click the Send button.

A separate email with a unique link to the file(s)/folder(s) you have selected will be sent (blind copied) to the email addresses that you entered. These recipients will have fourteen (14) days to download their items.

Viewing, Forwarding, and Deleting Sent Files

The History tab on the Send Files page will give you a place to view the messages and the files that you've sent. Expanding the message will reveal the date, recipients and message options that were used.

  • To view a message that you've sent in the past, click the 'view' button.
  • To forward a message (with the attachments) to others, just click the 'forward' button.
  • The 'delete' button will remove a sent file message. This option will also invalidate any links that have been sent.
