Uploading and Downloading Files

It's very easy to transfer files to and from your ExaVault account. We have our own Web Client, and we also support all desktop FTP software. What follows is a quick overview of using our Web Client.

Uploading Files

Uploading files involves transferring files from your computer to the FTP server for others to access. Here is how you upload files with ExaVault's Secure FTP Web Client:

  • Once you've connected, your computer's files are on the left hand side of the window.
  • The FTP server's files are on the right hand side of the window.
  • Select files on the left hand side of the window.
  • Click the [ → ] button to upload.

As your files are uploading, you'll see a progress bar at the bottom of the window. Once the progress bar disappears, your files are uploaded.

Downloading Files

Downloading is the opposite of uploading: you bring files from the FTP server down to your computer.

  • Connect as you did above, when you were uploading files.
  • Select files on the right hand side of the window.
  • Click the [ ← ] button to download.
